These are fuel oil tanks in my grandparent's basement. When I was a little kid...for some strange reason I thought they were COWS. I really remember looking at them things and seeing cows! Boy I must have had a vivid imagination.

Took my wedding dress out of my closet to stick in my cedar chest. Unfortunatly it doesn't look the best. Sitting in the closet since 1998 without ever having been cleaned has taken it's tole on it.

Raggedy Ann pin I begged my Mom for when I was younger.

The knecklace DH gave me our very first Valentine's day when we were dating. Stones have turned a little green with age and having been worn so much.

The locket my Grandma gave me. Her Mother had bought it for her when she was still in school back in the 1940's. She wore it in her Senior photo and I wore it in mine.
A few years ago when I was babysitting...the little girl I was watching was about 10 at the time. I took her and younger sister and brother to the park. Before we left I had ran up to my room to change my shoes. My jewelry box was on the top of a cabinet. (Where she could reach) We got to the park and they were playing. I had walked over by the slide to check on her little brother, I wanted to make sure he wasn't going to fall. I was near the bottom of the slide, when the sun reflected off what looked like a knecklace. I reached down and picked it up think some kid must of dropped their knecklace. I looked at it and for a moment it seemed as if time slowed down as I recognized that it was my knecklace! I have never been so angry at a child in all my life. The 10 year old had been in trouble for stealing before. She had taken my knecklace and it must have fallen out of her pocket when she was going down the slide. I believe it was a miracle that I found it.:)

DH's Miss Piggy bank. It had belonged to him and his sister when they were little.
