Panic=no brakes.....especially going down a BIG hill!

I was going to Tink's school...to get there you have to go down hill. There was a bit of snow on the road so I slipped the car in neutral and was just coasting down the hill. I didn't want to pick up speed so I was braking. When I'd hit the brakes the car would almost spin, so I'd let off and straighten then I'd tap them again. About the 3rd time I hit the brakes the pedal dropped to the floor, didn't come back up, and the brake light came on. I panicked as the car was starting to speed up and I wasn't even half way down the hill. I decided to try to turn onto the side road for the school, so that I wouldn't be going down hill anymore, but the road was too slick and I slid into the yard on the corner. I thought for sure I was going to drive straight into the gazebo. By some miracle the sled came to an abrubt stop. I never felt it slow down, it just stopped. I put the car in park, and got out shaking thanking God that I was okay. Thankfully I didn't hit anything and barely even made two small ruts, I pushed them back down when the tow truck removed the car.
Marks from being pulled out....notice the man in the yellow coat, he's next to the stop sign that I just missed hitting.
